FAQ

Are there any fees?

Yes. No signup or subscription fees, but each party pays a 10% platform fee per shift. Example: On $20/hour, the shifter receives $18/hour (after the platform fee; normal payout/bank fees may apply) and the business pays $22/hour plus standard payment‑processing fees..

How do payments work, and when do Shifters get paid?

After the business confirms the shift is complete, payment is processed automatically. Shifters typically see funds in 1–3 business days (timing depends on their bank)..

What’s the cancellation policy?

6+ hours before start: Either side can cancel with no penalty. If the Business cancels within 6 hours, the Business owes 2 hours at the agreed rate. If the Shifter cancels within 6 hours, the Shift is recorded as a Cancel on the Shifter’s profile. If the Shifter is not present at the start of the Shift and didn’t cancel, the Business may cancel with no penalty and the Shifter receives a No‑Show on their record..

What happens if I’m late or don’t show up?

Shifters may start late as long as the Business hasn’t canceled yet. A Shifter cannot start after the scheduled shift has ended. If a Shifter arrives late, the Business decides whether they can work the remainder. We track lateness (how many times and average minutes late). No‑Shows: 3 strikes and the account is removed from the platform..

How are hours tracked and how is pay calculated?

All time is clocked in/out through the app or website. Shifters are paid only for the actual minutes worked..

Who sets the rate?

The business and shifter agree on the rate before the shift..

Can I schedule multiple shifts?

Yes. You can accept as many confirmed shifts as you like, as long as they don't overlap. Businesses can also send multiple requests to different Shifters..
